The Association

Rutland and Melton Conservatives are affiliated to the Conservative Party; the Association is self-funding from voluntary contributions and abides by the constitution.

The Association has a well-defined management structure, with local branches and sub-committees, all reporting to the Association Officers and Executive Management team. The Officers are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting.

Alicia Kearns MP

Member of Parliament for Rutland and Melton

Conservative Alicia Kearns has been elected as the new Member of Parliament for the Rutland and Melton constituency in the first December election held in over one hundred years. 

The win makes her only the third person to represent Rutland and Melton since 1983.

Loving animals, Michael riding Wizard, a home bred, one of 6 horses, 3 dogs and 6 hens kept at home. Quite a menagerie, but means holidays are few and far between.

Meet Jacob Wilkinson. I’ve been a member of the Conservative Party for 15 years and I’ve been an additional member of the association’s management committee since 2018. I am also a councillor on Melton Borough Council, representing the Melton Sysonby ward.
