Rutland & Melton Young Conservatives
Here at the RMCA we have a great leader of our Young Conservative group: Ben Townley.
Having been recently elected to the position of Young Conservative leader, Ben hopes to make it a thriving and fun part of the RMCA.
He enjoys long walks on the beach, and the sound of a motorbike at sunset.
Having been interested in politics his whole life - especially so when he realised that a decision in Westminster can have far flung and dramatic consequences for everyone in the country - he decided to join the Conservatives and try to do what he could to help make things better.
In a previous life he has been a PPC, traveled around the world, and lived in 5 different countries in as many years. Now, however, his focus is on the Young Conservatives. To make this part of the RMCA as vibrant and fun as it can be and to give as many young people as he can a voice in the local party.
Starting this November, we'll be hosting regular, informal social events for all members and their guests - not just limited to Young Conservatives.
These events will be scheduled on a monthly basis, and hosted in various areas of the Constituency.
