As a resident of Melton Mowbray, I have enjoyed living here now for over 23 years. As a business owner based at Asfordby Business Park, I employ local people and am in touch with the needs of local working families.
I represent Newport ward as a Borough Councillor and Melton East as a County Councillor. I have lived in Melton since 1973, working for Mars as an an Occupational Health Nurse for 20 years.
Byron Rhodes is the County Councillor for Belvoir, the area to the North East of Melton Mowbray, comprising 32 villages and 12 parish councils. He is also the Deputy Leader of the County Council and cabinet lead member for finance and resources.
Malise has represented Wymondham ward l since May 1987. During his time as a Councillor, he served as Mayor of the Borough of Melton during the 1993-94 Civic Year and was Leader of Melton Borough Council for a total of 14 years over this time.
I am delighted to have been elected with Nick Woodley for Oakham South. As a Rutland resident since 2012, I previously served for 32 years in the Army as a Soldier and Officer, 2 years of which were spent at North Luffenham, Commanding a Military Working Dog Squadron.
I was delighted to be elected with Ian Razzell representing Oakham South. I was born at RAF Wittering and spent much of my childhood in Cottesmore. I moved back to Rutland in 2014.
I have served you on Rutland County Council for the past 8 years. I promised then that I would listen to you and be your voice at the Council. I have done this by addressing the concerns that you have raised with me at “open surgeries” following my many newsletters.
Edward has been a County Councillor since 1996. He became Leader in 1998, and held that position for 4 years until 2002. He took on the role of Chairman in 2008, and held office until 2011.
I have lived in Rutland since 1965 and farmed with my wife Jane and daughter Emma. I am a practical, no nonsense countryman and have represented Rutland at a national level at the British Wool Marketing Board, NFU and Countryside Alliance.
