I was delighted to be elected with Ian Razzell representing Oakham South. I was born at RAF Wittering and spent much of my childhood in Cottesmore. I moved back to Rutland in 2014.
I will be campaigning for a larger medical facility in Oakham which is fit for the future, to ensure everyone has access to appropriate healthcare. I am also campaigning to keep our hospital in Oakham. I believe in investing time into revitalising our High Street and I want it to flourish with businesses and tourism.
Having been successful in business, with experience of working for some of the largest companies in the UK and the World, my wife and I came back to live in Rutland. Since moving back we have thrown ourselves into the local community fundraising for local charities, supporting local businesses and joining groups such as the Rutland Lions. I am very community spirited and will work hard for Oakham.
As your Councillor, I will be here to listen to you and be a strong voice for you at the County Council.
