I am delighted to have been elected with Nick Woodley for Oakham South. As a Rutland resident since 2012, I previously served for 32 years in the Army as a Soldier and Officer, 2 years of which were spent at North Luffenham, Commanding a Military Working Dog Squadron.
I will be campaigning for larger and more capable medical facilities in Oakham including a hospital and I want to ensure that everyone has better access to local healthcare. I also believe in investing time into revitalising our High Street as I want it to flourish with successful businesses and tourism.
Currently, I work for the NHS as a Business and Finance Director and live in Oakham with my wife and son who attends Catmose College. In my spare time, I am the Chairman of Royce Rangers Football Club and have a passion for community, youth engagement, local facilities and meaningful care for the frail and elderly.
As your Councillor, I will be here to listen to you and be a strong voice for you at the County Council.
