He had worked for Melton Borough Council for over 50 years in the finance dept, retiring as Senior Accountant with a wealth of knowledge about Local Government to put to good use now as a Councillor for Gaddesby.
He is 69 years old, married with two children and has lived in Burton Lazars and Gaddesby since 1973. He is Treasurer of Great Dalby Primary School, Treasurer of Great Dalby Methodist Church, and Chairman of Great Dalby Cricket Club.. Robert completed 20 years on Great Dalby Parish Council in 2003.

Bob say " I am so lucky to have lived in Gaddesby Ward all my life. Having worked for Melton Borough Council for 50 years I have seen at first hand how hard Councillors work for their wards and I can assure everyone that I will strive to deliver the outcomes and improvements to services that residents want. I want to build on past achievements, and of course the relief road and its future is so important to us. We are lucky to live in such a beautiful place but parts are spoilt by fly tipping and dog fouling, both of which I will be able to act upon as your councillor

I will ensure that I put residents of my Ward first so do please contact me on any issues"
