County Councillor for Melton East division
Councillor for Newport ward
  • Leicestershire County Councillors
  • Borough Councillors

I represent Newport ward as a Borough Councillor and Melton East as a County Councillor. I have lived in Melton since 1973, working for Mars as an an Occupational Health Nurse for 20 years.
I enjoy meeting local residents either at my monthly surgeries in the Market Place on a Saturday, at residents meetings, which I organise periodically, or casually, when I am out and about in the Town.
If you are a serving military person, or a Veteran, please join us on the first Saturday in the month for Breakfast at the Harborough Hotel between 10.00am and 12.00pm and join our Breakfast Club.
In my leisure time I enjoy spending time with my son and daughter and four grandchildren.
It remains an honour to be part of the Newport Team on the Borough Council, and the most rewarding and satisfying part of my role has been meeting local residents and sorting out individual problems, I have a proven record of working hard for local residents, and I am delighted to have been re-elected in May 2019.
